The Pasticceria Venezia, founded by the Bressan family, has been a feature of Vicenza since the early 1900s. After more than 100 years of uninterrupted activity, it is now one of Vicenza's "Historical Stores". In 1964, it was taken over by Leopoldo and “Giobatta” Ferracina, who, respectful of the long tradition of the previous owners, decided to continue to offer many of their typical confectionery, like the “Bressana” cake. In 1985, when the premises were extended to install the café area, the desire to carry on with the Bressan tradition urged the Ferracina family to keep the original and valuable white wooden deco furnishings, much to the delight of the customers.
