VIOFF – Golden Arts, Salvador Dalí meets Andrea Palladio

The third edition of VIOFF, Vicenzaoro’s Fuori Fiera – promoted by Comune di Vicenza and IEG-Italian Exhibition Group – will be dedicated to the suggestive world of art. After the success of the first two editions, the third, entitled Golden Arts, will take place from 6th to 8th September 2019.

In this very context, VIOFF pays homage to Andrea Palladio and Salvador Dalí. The first, renowned architect and scenographer of the Venice Republic, has influenced many generations of artists, while the second fits perfectly thanks to his appreciation of the Palladian buildings.

The polyhedric Dalí, painter, sculptor, writer, photographer, filmmaker, designer and screenwriter, has clearly expressed in his autobiography its admiration for the architect from Vicenza.

The binomial Palladio – Dalí will be the focus of this third VIOFF edition. There will be a series of relevant activities thanks to the collaboration between Comune di Vicenza, IEG and Dalí Universe, among the largest and most prestigious private collections of works by the Spanish artist.

Dalí Universe gathers bronze sculptures, surrealist furnishings, gold items, glass sculptures, autographed graphics, gouaches and many other works of the Catalan genius: an inestimable treasure that stems from the friendship between the artist and Beniamino Levi, art merchant, collector and Dalí Universe president.
