Quality and perfection: Sinclair Harding's creations
Born in 1956, Robert Bray only came into the sector relatively recently. After leaving school at 15 years of age, he began an apprenticeship in artisan engineering at a small company specialized in producing precision machinery. He took a degree in production engineering at Brunel University and continued working for the same company, until 1995, in various roles and in all aspects of engineering, from product design to the quality control of small machinery and reducers to be used in the aerospace, defence and medical fields.
In search of a new challenge, he rescued Cheltenham-based Sinclair Harding from bankruptcy, ensuring that the famous watch brand would survive. The company honours the historical tradition of sophisticated British watchmaking. With its range of splendid handmade watches, this exclusive company embraces the precision, quality and perfection ideals of the watch industry.
