Jewellery Technology Forum 2019
During T.GOLD, the international show for jewellery machinery and the most innovative technologies applied to gold and jewellery processing – scheduled to take place in Vicenza from 18th the 23rd January 2019 – the much-awaited 15th edition of the Jewellery Technology Forum.
The event, the only international conference dedicated to new technologies and the latest trends in the jewellery industry, is organized by Italian Exhibition Group and Legor Group and will be held on 20th January in Hall 7.1 – Tiziano Room, at Vicenza Expo Centre.
To mark this important anniversary, the Forum will have a special new format divided into three sections: Learn, Foresee and Explore.
The first part, Learn, will feature important lessons with sector experts who will be outlining the fundamental concepts of the chemical and metallurgy world applied to jewellery production. Why do unexpected cracks appear after production and how can the casting channels of a new object be correctly identified? These are just some of the key questions that will be dealt with in detail during the first part of Jewellery Technology Forum 2019 at Vicenzaoro from 10 am to 11.30 am.
This will be followed at 11.30 am until 1 pm with interventions from Stefania Trenti and Paola De Luca, who will be presenting visions of the sector’s future amid financial and style trends. Lastly, from 2 to 5 in the afternoon, several top companies and research institutes will be providing in-depth information on significant topics, like, for example, additive technologies, Palladium 950 Laws, SLM technology applied to platinum jewellery, artisan gold obtained from responsible sources in a journey through the Peruvian and Columbian mining communities and the general improvement in galvanic processing applied to gold and jewellery.
