Yana Nesper at Vicenzaoro September 2019
In 1970 Ilse and Heinz Nesper founded Heinz Nesper in Pforzheim, today among the most important European importers of cultured pearls. Over the past 25 years the company has been run by the second generation, Frank and Yana Nesper, and each year supplies around 800 kilograms of pearls from the Far East to exclusive producers and jewelers.
In 1992 Frank Nesper was one of the first Europeans to work in the largest pearl farm, that of the Japanese farmer Tasaki Shinju. As an apprentice, he was able to become familiar with the whole process of pearl cultivation and understood that the fundamental criterion to be evaluated for the quality of the pearl was to consider the same emotion that it can give.
In 2010, the company launched the Yana Nesper brand which boasts collections created to embody elegance, class and youthful freshness. Yana Nesper creates refined but at the same time casual jewels for cultured, independent and refined women: “Life expects us the best performance and maximum flexibility in all sectors, while many of us want constancy, tradition and a touch of luxury . Just like in the exciting Yana Nesper creations, between tradition and modernity”.
