VIOFF winter edition: between gold and a special mission
The winter edition of "VIOFF Golden Wood edition" will be held from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th January. The Vicenzaoro Fuori Fiera is organized with the City of Vicenza and created to promote the city and its excellence on the occasion of Vicenzaoro January, one of the most important and prestigious international trade fairs dedicated to jewellery, organized by Italian Exhibition Group.
The event aims at enhancing the link between the trade show, the territory and the companies and in the winter edition it will grow to become a three-day initiative involving both streets and buildings of the historic center and the exhibition center.
"If the first edition has been appreciated, this three-day event will be really special thanks to a rich program of eventis dedicated to art, culture, entertainment and sporting exhibitions, with a focus mainly on raising funds for our Altopiano - the commissioner for production activities Silvio Giovine explained -. In the aftermath of October 29th we all had images of the floods burned in our minds, so it was natural to call Emanuele Munari, mayor of Gallio and president of the Unione Montana Spettabile Reggenza 7 Comuni, proposing this declination of the event. I thank all those who have collaborated in the realization of this vast program and I hope that the Altopiano can really benefit. The support of the Alpini in fundraising through the desks at the trade show and during the aperitifs will be exciting and suggestive. They represent the best part of Italy and should be thanked. The VIOFF Golden Wood edition program will be dedicated to raising funds for the intelligent reconstruction of a forest on the Altopiano di Asiago.
A fundraising desk will be active on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th January, from 10a.m. to 5p.m. at the Vicenza Exhibition Center during of Vicenzaoro, and will be managed by the Vicenza section of the National Alpine Association.
Saturday 19th January, from 6 to 10p.m. the desks will also be set up in the bars that will host the aperitifs throughout the heart of the city: Moplen, Ostaria Il Grottino, Julien, Ovosodo, Angolo Palladio. Moreover, at the Trade Show there will be an IAT info point - Tourist Information Office - to convey specific information to the visitors who will attend Vicenzaoro.
Numerous appointments and events: among these, the theme of gold, with the involvement of the economic categories, will be declined in the three days inside shops and stores will organize specific initiatives for visitors to Vicenzaoro and the city.
There will also be a widespread show Artigianato & Design (Artisans, Products, Spaces in the city dedicated to the "beautiful and well-made" and the Arts) with some products of craft enterprises of the national territory of the different areas of Made in Italy craftsmanship as protagonists hosted in spaces dedicated to shopping and art in the center of the city of Vicenza.
