The Vicenzaoro Fuori Fiera, VIOFF will take place from January 19 to 21, 2024 in Vicenza's historic center.
The event, a collaboration between the city administration and Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will be held in conjunction with the International Jewellery Show, organized by IEG and presented at the Vicenza Fair from January 19 to 23, 2024.
The objective of Vicenzaoro is, as always, to bring together the gold jewellery and watchmaking sectors, presenting the best of Made in Italy production and international excellence, while VIOFF aims to distinguish the heart of the city with artistic, cultural and entertainment offerings, involving the Basilica Palladiana and highlighting local artisan production, offering a wide range of cultural activities for all ages.
The 11th edition of VIOFF, called "Golden Generaction," will focus on the enhancement of the area and involve merchants, artisans, accommodation facilities, professionals and industry associations. Leone Zilio, councillor for sports and major events, stresses the relevance of the project and the importance of involving young people, while Marco Carniello, Global Exhibition Director Jewellery & Fashion of IEG, celebrates Vicenzaoro's 70th anniversary as a shared heritage, pointing out that if Vicenzaoro is confronted on the world stage of jewellery with big metropolises such as Hong Kong and Las Vegas, it is thanks to the contribution of many: territory, companies, institutions, buyers, associations, media...
"VIOFF Golden Generaction" aims to involve citizens and guests during Vicenzaoro January 2024, making them protagonists of the historic center, promoting the excellences through art, music and entertainment.
The event poster, curated by artist Camilla Falsini, depicts the Basilica Palladiana with young and visually appealing characters, emphasizing culture, history and innovation in the context of Generation Z. The Roman artist has extensive experience in illustration and mural painting, drawing inspiration from modern art movements.
