TIME and VO Vintage:watchmaking at Vicenzaoro January
Vicenzaoro January 2024, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will be held in Vicenza from January 19 to 23 along with T.Gold, dedicated to machinery and innovation for goldsmithing.
The event also continues to include two areas dedicated to watchmaking: TIME, a B2B area dedicated to contemporary watchmaking, and VO Vintage, an event open to the public dedicated to collectors and enthusiasts of vintage watches and jewellery.
TIME: THE B2B AREA DEDICATED TO CONTEMPORARY WATCHMAKING
A space with a selection of 45 exhibitors, the TIME community showcases emerging brands, microbrands and start-ups in contemporary watchmaking, as well as private labels and accessories.
Present since the first edition of "Time," the brands Locman, Edox and U Boat return. Among the Made in Italy proposals are the independents Venezianico and Out Of Order and a selection of microbrands in collaboration with W.O.I. - Watches Of Italy, which brings names such as Allemano, Mondia, Perseo and Orologi Calamai, among others, to the fair. Swiss brands such as Maurice Lacroix are growing at 33%, and French brands such as Herbelin, to name a few, are growing at 7%. Presences also from Belgium and the USA.
VO VINTAGE: A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR VINTAGE WATCH ENTHUSIASTS
VO Vintage is now in its fifth edition with an even richer selection of valuable pieces presented by the best vintage jewelry and watch dealers: up 22% from the last edition. A unique event of its kind in Italy, it is structured to involve the public not only in the purchase of unique and valuable watches, but also in educational meetings, with seminars, talks, master classes and workshops.
In attendance will be experts of the caliber of master watchmaker Giulio Papi, Professor Ugo Pancani, professor of mechanical and electronic watchmaking at the FHH Academy in Geneva, and Bruno Bergamaschi aka Giorgione, founder of the Watchouse enthusiast forum. Representatives of the Watchpassion association of retailers and the industry's top dealers, including Stefano Mazzariol, Maurizio De Angelis, Andrea Foffi and Elvio Piva, will not be absent, with the aim of offering visitors a comprehensive and engaging experience under the banner of vintage watchmaking culture.
