GECI, in partnership with IIDGR at VICENZAORO, organizes a conference on new technologies for the diamond market
The meeting aims to sensitize the public towards greater ethics in order to lead the supply chain towards an increasingly more organized diamond awareness through new technologies and more practical and functional gemmological training, the strong points of both organizations. Alberto Osimo, President of GECI, will open the conference followed by Lucia Gori, Education Director at GECI, who will speak about the importance of gemmological training. Daniel White from Business Development at IIDGR, will be illustrating the latest equipment and training services on offer to the diamond market and Alessia Crivelli from Crivelli Gioielli Srl will offer the living proof of an increasingly international brand that is considerably sensitive to the conference theme. Francoise Izaute, Coordinator of Confindustria Federorafi's Internationalization Work Group, will close the talks. The conference will also include a final debate where the public will be able to interact with the speakers and then GECI and IIDGR staff will give participants a small gift and offer a live cocktail. Furthermore, for the entire duration of the Show, GECI, which has always kept a watchful eye on the market and tried to protect the supply chain against the synthetic threat, will be offering SINTHdetect, a cutting edge tool for screening diamonds mounted on jewellery sets.
