Emmy Awards 2020: the jewels of TV stars
"Remote" but no less important edition for the Emmy Awards 2020. This year, in fact, the event was held in compliance with the guidelines relating to the containment of Covid-19 and the organization of the most important television award in the world has opted for a virtual edition.
Presenting this 2020 edition was Jimmy Kimmel in a deserted Staples Center in Los Angeles: few guests, including the charming Jennifer Aniston, and many stars, who have not given up on elegant and precious looks connected from their homes.
The undisputed star of the evening is Zendaya, who won the award for best actress in a drama series for "Euphoria": two dresses chosen, the first purple and black by Christopher John Rogers with a necklace in white gold, diamonds, rubellites and emeralds and rings in white gold and diamonds Bulgari High Jewelry, and the second signed by Giorgio Armani Privé with black skirt with powder pink polka dots and top in black velvet embroidered with pearls and crystals.
Also in sight Regina King, winner of the award for best actress for "Watchmen", who combined a Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress from the SS20 collection in sapphire blue silk studded with bijoux embroidery and Tracee Ellis Ross with a sumptuous golden flounced dress by Alexandre Vauthier and vintage Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Billy Porter opted for a white Ashi Studio dress with a long cape, jacket and pants and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Kerry Washington even made a dress change from a white floral dress by Oscar de la Renta to a sparkling Dolce & Gabbana look paired with Chopard jewels, while Julia Garner opted for a retro and highly elegant style, including a silk dress cream and many strands of Chanel pearls, for a slightly charleston mood. And then Robin Thede, with a long mustard-colored princely dress paired with large Jennifer Fisher rings and Misho earrings.
Star and luxury, even in a virtual version.
