Alunno&Marcantoni: hand-crafted jewellery
Founded in 1982, A&M – Alunno&Marcantoni is now a company that keeps pace with the requests and rhythms of an increasingly demanding market that pays great attention to product quality. The owners, Giorgio Alunno and Rossana Marcantoni, have managed the business with dedication and involvement so that it is now well-rooted in the territory. In fact, for several years the aim has been to approach new realities and “put themselves to the test” in order that the production is in line with new requirements.
A key player in the Creation area at Vicenzaoro January, A&M jewellery stands out for its fascinating large volumes, sinuosity and linear shapes.
Jewellery made in-house among printed earrings, using a special combination of Electroforming and Electrocasting, which gives the items their particularity and provides the chance to play with colour combinations and finishing, and various collections in 18 kt, 14 kt, 21 kt gold and silver, with geometric and essential lines.
And then there is Ma.Mo, a project aimed at a versatile Man: one that goes from macho to crazy, from Grunge to Hipster to Dandy, who loves the most unexpected things – music, cooking, tattoos, the beard cult, extravagant accessories, like braces, engines and photography.
The owners say, “The challenge in these times of global economic crisis, is firstly to consolidate our presence internationally, as well as to further strengthen our position on the national front by promoting ourselves as a totally Made in Italy company, ready to invest and innovate technologically in Italy too. Speaking of which, we have tried to improve our company to provide better quality and well-being for the territory by installing solar panels on the roof of our premises in order to use the sun as a source of natural, clean and renewable energy.”
