Vicenzaoro September closes above expectations
The gold and jewellery sector restarts with confidence and optimism with Vicenzaoro September 2021, totalling 80% of the visits recorded in the 2019 edition, and confirming itself as the leading event.
The international turnout of buyers and visitors from abroad exceeded 30% of the total: 77% from Europe, led by Spain, Germany, France, 7% from the Middle East and also from the United States, Russia and North Africa. 108 countries represented by foreign visitors in this new edition of the event.
Vicenzaoro, therefore, represented a large product showroom in a sector in which it remains essential to see, touch and experience the jewel, capturing the strong desire of the operators to meet and network.
Vicenzaoro is positioned as the engine of business recovery in the world for a sector that, in Italy, employs 30 thousand employees for over 7 thousand companies and which moves an export of 8 billion euros. The September edition, therefore, wanted to be a moment of meeting but also of reflection to take a picture of the state of the art of the downstream sector of the pandemic period and of the challenges it faces.
During the days of Vicenzaoro, two other events at the same time are held in the same exhibition centre: T. Gold, the international exhibition for machinery and advanced technologies for the design and manufacturing processes of the jewel, and VO Vintage (11-13 September), in its second edition and open to the public of collectors, enthusiasts and the curious of vintage watchmaking and jewellery.
Vicenzaoro September saw the support of the international hub of reference for the whole sector: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency. The presence of associations such as Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato Goldsmiths, Confcommercio Federpreziosi, CNA Goldsmiths, Confimi Industria Goldsmith and Argentiera Category, Assocoral, AFEMO - Association of Manufacturers Exporters of Goldsmith Machinery and, at an international level, CIBJO - World Confederation of Jewellery is compact.
The next appointment with Vicenzaoro for the whole community is from 21 to 26 January 2022, confirming itself as the first event on the international trade fair calendar of the year for the sector.
