Vicenzaoro 2022 kicks off tomorrow
Vicenzaoro 2022 - The Jewelery Boutique Show, the international jewelery exhibition organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, returns from 17 to 21 March. At the same time also T. Gold, the international exhibition for machinery and advanced technologies for the design and production of jewelery and VO'Clock Privé, the new lounge of contemporary watchmaking, an opportunity for the 24 excellent watchmaking brands to meet, the operators and enthusiasts of the sector.
Vicenzaoro will see the presence of over 1000 exhibiting brands from 27 countries, with the return of companies from countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand and India and will host more than 300 buyers from over 50 countries, in particular the USA (17%), UAE (7 %), Israel (5%), Saudi Arabia and Egypt. All thanks to the cohesive presence of institutions and trade associations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato Orafi, Confcommercio Federpreziosi, CNA Orafi, Confimi Industria Goldsmith and Argentiera category, Assocoral, AFEMO - Association of Manufacturers Exporters of Goldsmith Machinery and, at international level, CIBJO - World Confederation of Jewelery.
The inaugural ceremony of the event will be held on Thursday 17 March at 11:30 am, in which the president of IEG Lorenzo Cagnoni, the mayor of Vicenza Francesco Rucco, the sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, the vice president of the Province of Vicenza Cristina Franco, the president Federorafi will take part. Claudia Piaserico, the Councilor for Economic Development of the Veneto Region Roberto Marcato, the president of ICE Agency Carlo Maria Ferro, and the greetings of the CEO of IEG, Corrado Peraboni.
This will be followed by several moments of debate and discussion on strategic issues such as training, sustainability, trends and innovation, with a schedule that involves the entire community, protagonists, opinion leaders and special guests.
In fact, Vicenzaoro intends to strengthen its role in supporting training, promoting the initiatives of trade associations, institutes and universities on the one hand, and enhancing the attractiveness of the sector on the other. An example of this is the Inspiration Boards project promoted by the influencer Laura Inghirami, Entrepreneur & Founder Donna Jewel, which brings the new generations to the fair and in particular the students of the IED, European Institute of Design in Turin of the second year of the university course of Design of the Fashion, Jewelery Design address.
The Assocoral talk, seminars organized by CIBJO and the meeting of Trendvision Jewelery + Forecasting for the circular economy will then explore the themes of sustainability.
Market trends and sentiments will finally be presented by the Goldsmiths' Club with Intesa Sanpaolo.
At T.GOLD, an insight into innovation and technologies with the Jewelery Technology Forum and a new edition of the Startup & Carats project, organized with the support of Agenzia ICE to give visibility to young entrepreneurial realities by promoting new opportunities for relationships and business.
For watchmaking, on the other hand, VO'Clock Privé courses are scheduled, open to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays and organized by the Geneva institution FHH - Fondation de la Haute Horlogeriee by the CAPAC watchmaking school in Milan.
Finally, the city of Vicenza will play a fundamental role thanks to the now unmissable VIOFF event, the Fuori Fiera di Vicenzaoro which, thanks to an engaging offer of events, favors the reception of visitors through the enhancement of the territory and the excellence that compose it.
