Met gala 2023: jewels that celebrate Karl Lagerfeld

At the Met Gala, celebrities highlighted their looks with jewellery that paid homage to Karl Lagerfeld. The dresses, as refined as they were elegant, were combined with pearls, diamonds, vintage pieces and much more.

Starting with Dua Lipa who embellished her Chanel dress with a diamond of over 200 carats from Tiffany & Co. The same maison was also chosen by Kate Moss who opted for a platinum choker with diamonds combined with earrings, bracelet and ring with morganites and diamonds.

Kim Kardashian celebrated the designer with a tailor-made Schiaparelli dress by Daniel Roseberry made up of 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000,000 crystals positioned on the décolleté and cascading down the legs.

A new trend was instead sported by Rita Ora: jewel-nails with ankle-length chain necklaces embellished with pearls and light points.

Michaela Coel also exaggerated with extravagance and exclusivity with a jewel-dress made up of 130,000 crystals and over 26,000 stones, signed by Emefa Cole.

Another bold look is that of Rihanna who for the occasion has decided to combine the silk faille cape by Valentino with a Bulgari High Jewelry necklace.
