Wyler Vetta innovates and reintroduces past collections at VO'Clock Privé
It's party time. For the 125th anniversary of the birth of its founder, Paul Wyler, the brand is offering a limited edition with a 43 mm case of the iconic Jumbostar line.
On Vicenza’s VO'Clock Privé stage from 18th to 20th March 2022, Wyler Vetta will be seizing the opportunity to present another version of its own Jumbostar model, with a 40 mm steel case and some technical and stylistic additions. The hands will, in fact, be set in a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal dial, equipped with Landeron caliber 72. As in the previous version, the watch flaunts a rice-grain steel bracelet and two additional straps in black and cream-colored leather.
«The Vicenza event will allow us to forge contacts with the public of buyers, end customers and enthusiasts. Indeed, admirers have always greatly appreciated the revival of the 1968 model’s lines in a contemporary key,» commented Marcello Binda, managing director of Wyler Vetta. «The new 43 mm chronograph is a contemporary interpretation of the product inspired by the historical piece, while the 40 mm version offers a more faithful approach to the iconic model of the past that enthusiasts love so much.»
Also on display at VO'Clock Privé will be the Dynawind collection, which is innovative in terms of timepiece design, materials and functions.
Fulvio Locci, who designs the Wyler Vetta collections, concludes: «The brand has always paid attention to the technical and performance aspects of its watches, integrating them into the design. We are now opting for decidedly contemporary lines that nevertheless leave the charm of the collections unaltered.»
