VIOFF: an all-around experience to live
Besides visual arts, music and dance, there will also be numerous recreational activities that will range from pure entertainment to creative workshops, including sophisticated food and wine tastings too.
Artisanship, collectibles and vintage items will be protagonists thanks to “Non ho l’Età”. The traditional market that takes place monthly in Vicenza’s downtown will be in Piazza San Lorenzo on Sunday 8th September and it will have an exclusive format, the “Gold Edition”. It will host a creative workshop centered around the theme of surrealism and mostly dedicated to kids.
In Corso Fogazzaro there will be numerous temporary art shops, among them: the one on pencil drawing by Drawingfish; another on stone jewel designs by creatives Elisabetta and Daniela; No Senso Jewels’ one dedicated to contemporary art mounted on fancy handmade shapes and the one by Laboratorio Orafo Matì which will showcase unconventional accessories.
Piazza Duomo will be the stage for the 4th “Cucine a Motore” Italian tour which will satisfy even the most demanding food connoisseurs thanks to the participation of Michelin-starred chefs and ex TV series “Masterchef” entrants. At the same time, Cultural Association Pandora will promote in Contrà San Pietro, “Trastevere in Arte”: an event that will transform the entire area in suggestive exhibition spaces for the local businesses and regional artists.
On Sunday 8th September, from 6pm to 8.30 pm, in Corso Palladio you can’t miss the National beauty pageant “Miss Blumare”. Who’s going to be crowned “Miss VIOFF”?
Fun is guaranteed thanks to the traditional Luna park in Campo Marzio, too. Over 14 rides will be installed starting from 23rd August while many more will come in from 30th August to 15th September.
Lastly, Cuore Matto Gold’s Dj-set is confirmed once again! It will take place in Piazza dei Signori on Saturday 7th September from 10pm to 1am.
