At VO’Clock Privé watches, networking and training
From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 March 2022, VO’Clock Privé will present the excellence of contemporary watchmaking to enthusiasts and experts in the sector.
In particular, 23 exhibiting brands will reside in the lounge on the first floor of the Vicenza exhibition center: Allemano Time, Ba111od, Ball Watch, Bell & Ross, Bergeon, Casio G-Shock, Corum, Eberhard & Co., Erwin Sattler, Girard - Perregaux, Junghans, Locman Italy, Meistersinger, Mühle Glashütte, Paul Picot, Perrelet, Romeo Ferraris, Squale, Timex, Unimatic®, Venezianico, Vincent Calabrese, Wyler Vetta, Zenith.
VO’Clock Privé will also be a time full of opportunities for dialog and training.
Friday 18 March at 11 am the presentation press conference in the Canova Room will get underway. In the afternoon, on the other hand, the "Perspectives on watchmaking" event, which will give a general overview of the market trend with the speeches "Data and trends of the Italian market; anticipation of the results of the GFK-Assorologi survey ”by Mario Peserico, President of Assorologi, and“ Outlook on the luxury market ”by Stefano Fenili, Partner of Bain & Company.
Over the weekend, VO’Clock Privé will also open to the public of enthusiasts with talks and events aimed at collectors and lovers of timepieces. Saturday 19 March, opportunities for informal discussions with various brands, exhibitors and non-exhibitors, thanks to "meet-ups" in collaboration with the most recognized watchmaking forums and media. On this occasion the brands will tell their story, the main stages and the latest news. In the morning, moreover, the talk “The latest innovations in watchmaking” with the presence of Ugo Pancani, Carlo Ceppi and Vincent Calabrese moderated by Michele Mengoli in the Canova Room.
For watch lovers, on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March, sessions organised by the FHH - Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, to explore the most fascinating mechanisms such as the chronograph, tourbillon and perpetual calendar, and by trainers from the CAPAC watchmaking school in Milan, with whom they can learn the basics of mechanical watchmaking and acquire the skills to assemble and dismantle a mechanical movement directly in the classroom.
Finally, at VO’Clock Privé live demonstrations of the stages of making a handcrafted watch performed by hand with Bergeon equipment by Maestro Sante Castignani.
